SUBMERSIBLE / RAIN-RECHARGED BOREHOLES

Bring a dependable
water source into the plan.

Shallow boreholes, canals, ponds and reservoirs can bring irrigation to suitable rain-dependent farmland. Submersible pumps are selected around the actual water level, required head and available yield.

Small farm to shared system

A basic submersible system class serves 1-2 hectare applications, with larger connected and sensor-based systems selected for the project. Actual coverage is site-dependent.

A matched package

Pump, AC/DC inverter, solar panels, riser/hose, cabling and water-level protection are specified together. Riser length, pump duty and electrical requirements are confirmed in the quotation.

Rain recharge is site-specific

The shallow-borehole concept considers depths up to 30 m. A local assessment must establish seasonal water level, sustainable yield and water quality; not every shallow well is a viable source.

Borehole drilling is excluded unless expressly included in the quotation. Submersible systems are separately quoted and are not the PHP 88,000 surface-pump offer.

Discuss my borehole or water source

A submersible package is a matched system.

01

Pump and protection

Select the submersible pump around borehole dimensions, pumping water level, duty and source yield. The presentation includes water-level switching; the business case also specifies dry-running protection.

02

Power and riser

The basic reference includes an AC/DC time-programmable inverter, solar panels, a flexible riser/hose and the electrical cables. Final lengths and ratings follow the actual installation.

03

Source first

Rain-recharged groundwater is a site-specific opportunity. Establish the source conditions and required drilling works before promising irrigation availability. Drilling is not automatically part of a pump package.

Original basic submersible specification in the slides

Presentation page 3 lists a 2-inch pump, "5 m3/h @ 200 m", 1.5 kW, an AC/DC inverter with time programme, 25 m of 1.25-inch riser/hose, a level switch, four 630 W bifacial panels, 10 m of panel cabling and 12 m of pump cable. Borehole drilling is excluded. These are source-declared figures, not a validated simultaneous duty or a current fixed package quotation; confirm the pump curve, power and installation lengths before ordering.
